Creative Movement with Donna Warwick ARTSFUSION Artsfusion integrates first experiences of storytelling, music, creative movement, drama, and art appreciation. Using music they choose, students choreograph simple creative movement steps to further enliven the story behind a work of art. The child's vocabulary increases as objects and colors not often discussed in the home or school environment become the topic for discussion in viewing art of different periods. MUSIC AND MOTION Accompanied by an adult or other caregiver, young children from newborn to age 3 enjoy basic creative movement activities and a developmentally appropriate introduction to early childhood music. Rhythm band instruments, hoola hoops, scarves, batons and other props help the child enjoy participating in games and songs. INTRODUCTION TO BALLET This class offers 4-6 year old children an opportunity to experience ballet without tears. All aspects of the class are taught in a developmentally appropriate manner where children are asked to do steps that they can feel successful in mastering. FAIRYTALE BALLET Children ages 5-8 don simple costumes and props while interpreting a fairytale-of-the-week through fundamental ballet movement. Performing mini-ballets each week satisfies the child’s desire to be in a production without the formality and pressure of being on the big stage. FAIRYTALE BALLET BIRTHDAY PARTY Give your child and his or her friends a unique and most enchanted birthday party experience! Girls and boys alike have great fun throughout the 45-minute experience.
